Nano apatite/biomimetic polymer composite scaffolds with good mechanical properties and favorable bioactivity are promising for bone tissue engineering. Here, dense alginate/gelatin scaffolds with homogeneous nanoapatite coating were developed using 3D printing and in situ mineralization.use nanofibers in this structure can improve mechanical and antibacterial properties. In addition, nano apatite coating and reinforced by nanofibers significantly stimulated the proliferation and osteogenic differentiation of rat bone marrow stem cells. Furthermore, nano apatite coating increased the protein adsorption on the surface of scaffolds Fabricated biomimetic nano apatite/hydrogel composite scaffolds will be potential candidates for bone tissue engineering.
