Cardiovascular disease is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Tissue engineering is regarded as an effective approach to offering a proper replacement for damaged blood vessels. Electrospinning stands out among the various fabrication techniques, which is capable of producing structures with dimensional constituents similar to ECM fibers out of versatile biomaterials compositions. For this purpose, Polyurethane is considered a promising polymer due to its proper mechanical and biological properties such as high elasticity and hemocompatibility. In this study, nanostructure tubes of polyurethane were prepared via an electrospinning process using three different solutions of 9%wt, 11%wt, and 13%wt PU. The results revealed that a higher uniformity and less fiber fusing are visible in the SEM image of 11%wt PU, which can result in superior mechanical properties.
