Present work is aimed to develop an accurate calculation and analysis of properties in polyvinyl (alcohol)/chitosan/nano zinc oxide as a model bionanocomposite hydrogel produced by freeze-thaw method. The assinged properties consist of wound fluid absorption (WFA), water vapor transmission rate (WVTR), gel content (GC) and porosity as a function of the number of freeze-thaw cycle, thawing time and temperature. Since the relationship between the properties with the processing parameters is complex and non-linear, radial basis function (RBF) neural network as a forward network is taken into consideration. The performance evaluation of the suggested model by different statistical parameters indicat that the model meet the accuracy requirements.
