It is fundamental to understand how rheology applies to the characteristics of polymers because polymer melts are viscoelastic. In this study, parameters of seven-element Generalized Maxwell (GM) model for five samples including: 1) low molecular weight polypropylene (PP), 2) high molecular weight narrow distribution PP, 3) high molecular weight wide distribution PP, 4) block structure polypropylene/polyethylene (PP/PE) co-polymer and 5) random structure PP/PE co-polymer have been calculated and reported. Also, the effects of molecular weight (MW), molecular weight distribution (MWD) and the structure of polyethylene chains in PP co-polymer samples on the viscoelastic behavior have been discussed.
