Two different distributions of molecular weight were evaluated how to influence the crystalline characteristics of poly(3-hexylthiophene). In spite of a higher dispersity, less uniformity in polymer chain sizes, higher molecular weight led to improved crystallinity and crystalline quality confirmed by higher melting enthalpy and melting temperature, respectively.
