Poly(vinylidene difluoride) (PVDF)-benzophenone homogeneous mixtures were prepared by raising the temperature higher than the polymer melting point. PVDF was crystallized in absence and presence of the diluent by cooling the polymer or mixture form the melt state to the room temperature. Benzophenone was removed from the polymer semicrystalline structure, either by vacuum or ethanol treatments and the influence on the crystals reorganization was investigated.
