PVC is one of the most produced polymers today. The formation of a polymer shell on the inner wall of vinyl chloride polymerization reactors is one of the most important challenges faced by the production units of this polymer. This phenomenon reduces the efficiency of heat transfer from the reactor and thus makes it difficult to control the polymerization reaction and increases the production costs. Different coating systems have been proposed over the years to deal with this effect. The role of the coating resin substrate is very important in creating and maintaining the desired properties. In this research, it has been tried to investigate the effect of changing the amine number of the curing agent of the coating resin bed on the performance of the coating.
