In this work the CO2 adsorption of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) nonwoven fabric was improved by graphene oxide (GO) coating on the fabric. The GO-coated fabrics prepared by immersing the nonwoven fabric into the graphene oxide dispersion (1,5 mg/ml) and then drying at 70 °C for three times. The SEM and FTIR investigations confirmed the GO coating on PET fabric (GO-PET). The results showed that CO2 adsorption of GO-PET improved by 15.3% and 140% comparing to the PET and GO, respectively. The results demonstrated that the porosity of fabric and GO functional groups are effective factors on the CO2 adsorption of the GO-coated fabric.
