In the last two decades, heterocyclic imidazole derivatives have attracted considerable attention because of their unique optical properties. On the other hand conjugated conducting polymers possess good electrical conductivity, which equips them with potential for applications in corrosion guards, batteries, radars, detectors, electrochromic cells, electromagnetic shielding, light emitting diodes, opto-electronics and energy storage devices. In this regard, synthesis of a novel copolymer based on imidazole derivative has been designed. Synthesized materials have been characterized by HNMR that confirmed successfully preparation of the new introduced materials.
