A numerous variety of utilizations have been introduced for lignin-based substrates. However, their vast application has been prohibited by stiff nature, turbulent oxidative prospect, and poor processing properties. Copolymerization with PCL modulates lignin s physical and mechanical properties, leading to ease of processing and differing applications. Here, we synthesized lignin-polycaprolactone (PCL) copolymers via solvent-free ring-opening polymerization (ROP) to design an antioxidative platform with higher thermoelasticity. Our results showed that adding lignin-PCL increased mechanical properties and thermal destruction, broadening potential usage.
