Accurate, controllable, and sufficient drug delivery is one of the most remarkable potentials of hydrogels, which has not yet been fully implemented. Because embedding all these options in a single system requires complex and sagacious design. Nanocomposite hydrogels based on smart polymers and multi-branched structures are a new class of biomaterials for this purpose. In the present work, a hydrogel based on hyperbranched polyglycerol (HPG), stimulus-responsive poly[2-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate (PDMAEMA), and traceable Fe3O4 nanoparticles has been designed and prepared. The results indicate the successful preparation of this hydrogel and its high potential for drug delivery applications.
