In the era of portable electronic devices, electrical energy storage resources with improved properties will become increasingly important. The supreme performance, low self-discharge rate, and low weight of lithium-ion batteries have made them extremely popular over the past few years. In this study chitosan-based polymer electrolytes were synthesized by solution casting method. The effect of cross-linker on the electrochemical properties of electrolyte was investigated. Results showed that the crosslinking was improved ionic conductivity of polymer electrolytes.
