چكيده فارسي :
This study aims to improve the anti-corrosion performance of the hydroxyapatite-based coating applied on AZ31 magnesium alloy using adipic acid. HA coating was modified with adipic acid by direct addition method at different immersion times. The surface morphology and corrosion behavior of different coated samples were studied by Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FE-SEM) and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS), respectively. The highest corrosion resistance was related to the sample, which was modified by immersing in a solution containing 1 g/L adipic acid for 90 minutes. FE-SEM images showed that by increasing the immersion time up to 90 minutes, the chance for the formation of apatite deposits increased.
