In this article, a new family of porous organic polymers was synthesized by 4,4′-methylenedianiline and 2,4,6 trichloro 1,3,5 triazine (POP-MDC) for adsorbing of scarlet and Congo red dyes. The POP-MDC structure w:as char:acterized by using FE-SEM and XRD techniques. Both dyes follow the Langmuir adsorption isotherm and the second-order pseudo-linear equation. The BET surface area of POP-MDC was 44.472 m2.g -1. The optimal conditions for the adsorption of Congo Red are: (pH=5, concentration 100ppm, amount of absorbent 8mg, 150 minutes) and for scarlet: (pH=4, concentration 100ppm, amount of absorbent 6mg, 60 minutes). At 25 ̊C, the maximum adsorption capacity of scarlet dye reached 88 mg. g -1 and 58 mg. g -1 for Congo red.
