In the present research, anionic waterborne polyurethanes based on castor oil were synthesized. Poly (ɛ-caprolactone) diol (PCL), H12MDI, carboxylated ionic center: dimethylol propionic acid (DMPA), and 3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane (APTMS) were used in different ratios for synthesizing of the samples via prepolymer mixing method. In this paper, the effect of APTMS on the mechanical properties of the samples has been studied. The results showed that by increasing the APTMS, tensile strength and Young s modulus increased, and the optimal properties belong to the sample including 75 w% PCL and 25 w% of castor oil and 5 w%, 3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane.
