چكيده فارسي :
In this study, water absorption and thermal stability of semi-interpenetrating polymer networks (sIPN) made of waterborne polyurethane-acrylate (WPUA) and organo-modified montmorillonite (OMMT) were investigated. Fourier-transfer infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy revealed completion of the reactions and successful preparation of the sIPN films. The results of water absorption test and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) indicated that the introduction of acrylic chains to waterborne polyurethane (WPU) and the addition of nanoclay to WPUA improved the water and heat resistance of the films significantly.
