Combining materials to achieve the new and engineered properties is an old contrivance. Therefore, combining polymer chains and metals leads to fascinating materials such as MOFs, MOCs, CPs, etc.; that exhibit unique properties. Nowadays many researchers come to study the effect of various parameters on controlling the structure and properties of these hybrids. For example, the 2D CPs or MOFs show more electrochemical properties than 3D one.
