In the current study, Carboxymethyl chitosan sulfate (CMCS) was synthesized from Carboxymethyl chitosan, and then blended with poly ethylene oxide (PEO) and electrospun. CMCS w:as char:acterized using FTIR analysis. CMCS/PEO solutions with 4%wt concentrations and the ratios of 40:60 and 50:50 were electrospun. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was used to evaluate the electrospun nanofibers. All the solutions formed beadless nanofibers with different diameters, in voltage of 10,20 kV, 18 cm tip to collector distance and the feeding rate of 0.8 mL h–1.
