One of the most efficient approaches for the improvement of photovoltaic properties in the perovskite solar cells (PSCs) is incorporating the conducting polymers as an additive into the photoactive layer. These polymers can have dual impacts on improving the efficiency and stability of the PSCs. The conducting polymers can enhance the charge mobility and short-circuit current (JSC) in the PSCs. In order to improve the JSC of PSCs, the sulfonated polyaniline (SPANI) was synthesized and incorporated into the perovskite layer. The results were shown that the sulfonation of polyaniline (PANI) not only increases its solubility in the green solvents and perovskite main solvents but also has not much negative effect on the electrical conductivity. In this work, upon the incorporation of 10 mg.ml-1 SPANI solution into the inorganic perovskite precursor, the JSC of the PSC increases from 13.08 (control device) to 13.33 mA.cm-2.
