In this research, effects of electrospinning process parameters on the diameter and morphology of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) nanofibers were experimentally investigated. Taguchi method was utilized to design the experiments at the settings of solution concentration, voltage and the electrospinning distance. The surface morphology of the samples was examined using SEM and microstructure measurement. The results showed that the concentration has the greatest effect on the diameter of the fibers as well as the smallest and the most uniform diameter of PVA nanofibers were obtained in the first and the last level of the Taguchi design, respectively.
