A stable suspension of polyaniline (PANI) nanoparticles can be used in various applications instead of a polyaniline film. The ion exchange behavior of a stable suspension of PANI nanoparticles was investigated in the acidic solution by the cyclic voltammetric method. The electrochemical results showed two redox conversions that control the ion exchange process within the PANI structure. The result confirmed that PANI doped with anions sulfate easily releases dopants and replaces them with chloride anions in the solution.
