Oil and gas wells drilling operations are inextricably connected to the use of drilling fluids, whilst success and secure drilling operations rely on the performance of the drilling fluid. Polymers and nanopolymers as powerful additives have great potential to improve the properties of drilling fluids. This research studied drilling fluids that have been improved and modified by different nanopolymers. The ability to face up high pressure and sealing of drilling fluids based on nanopolymers prevents pressure transfer and minimizes the interaction of fluids between the drilling bit and the formation, thus improving the stability of the oil and gas wells.
