A novel triazine covalent framework (CTF) as a nanostructure polymeric carrier was introduced for anticancer drug delivery. The morphology and molecular structure the synthesized CTF were characterized by different techniques such as FT-IR spectra, X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, and nitrogen adsorption/desorption isotherm techniques. High specific surface area and porosity allowed us to achieve drug loading and encapsulation efficiency as high as 82% and 96%, respectively. The in vitro drug release study of anticancer drug loaded CTF showed a pH-dependent release behavior in which acidic pH accelerated drug release compared with the neutral pH. Thus, the synthesized CTF could be as a great promise toward anti-cancer drug carrier.
