Various compositions of PMMA bone cements including different quantities of two main components (liquid phase (N, N- Dimethyl Toluidine, MMA, Hydroquinone), solid Phase (BPO, PMMA, BaSO4)) and nano silica as filler are prepared and transferred to 2.5 ml plastic syringes after mixing for 30 seconds. Then the syringes are placed in an oven at 37 °C for 15 min; in this period, polymerization temperature (Tp) profile of the mixtures are checked every three minutes using a thermo vision camera. Thermal visioning of the samples illustrates that all of the samples surpass a maximum Tp within the range of 67 to 96 °C and the samples containing filler demonstrates lower maximum Tp. Also the samples with higher proportions of the solid phase show higher maximum Tp. Setting temperatures (TSet) of the samples showed similar trends to Tp.
