The dyeing of cotton fabrics with natural colorants can reduce the environmental impact of the process considerably. In this study, we extracted natural dyes from Henna leaves and used it along with silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) for dyeing of cotton fabrics. The UV-Visible data showed that extracted dye could reduce the silver ions to silver nanoparticles. Also. SEM-EDX analysis indicated the presence of silver NPs on dyed samples.
