In recent years, due to the condition of coronavirus COVID-19 and the increase in the delivery of postal goods nowadays the foams have received a lot of attention in industrial specially in packaging industry. According to importance of subject we focused on synthesizes of micronization eco-friendly polylactide foam (lactirofoam). For this purpose, firstly, the synthesize of polylactide has been done by ring-opening polymerization of l-lactide with benzyl alcohol in presence of Sn(II)-catalysis. After that the water solution of polylactide has been made and the micronization polylactide with micronized machine was carried out. Then the solution was precipitated in a mold and dry it at room temperature. The products were characterized by ATR FT-IR 1H-NMR, DTA/TGA/DTG, GPC and photo scanning with Optical Microscope. The results showed the successful synthesis of polylactide as a white foam (lactirofoam) for first time.
