In this paper the distribution theory of concomitants based on a modification of ranked set sampling which is introduced by maximum ranked set sampling with unequal sample (MRSSU) from the Farlie-Gumbel-Morgenstern bivariate family is developed. Here, the joint and marginal distribution of concomitants of maximum ranked set sample with unequal sample sizes are obtained and their single and product moments alongside their variance-covariance are computed. In addition, the results are applied to determine the moments and variance-covariance of the Gumbel’s bivariate one-exponential distribution. Finally, the best linear unbiased estimator for its parameter is obtained.
