NATURAL FOLIATIONS OF COTANGENT BUNDLE IN CARTAN SPACES

In this work, some properties of natural foliations on tangent bundle in a Finsler manifold is reconstructed on cotangent bundle in a Cartan space. Similar to Finsler manifolds, it is shown that the hyper surfaces achieved by Cartan function K in cotangent bundle naturally have contact structure. In particular, this structure is used to obtain new characterizations of Cartan spaces with negative constant curvature
