Development of Linear Programming Model with Environmental Protection Approach for Natural Resources Management

Management approaches play significant role in natural resources conservation. Nowadays, some parts of Earth, due to the lack of correct management plan, have been encountered with numerous damages such as environmental and socio-economic aspects. In this article linear programming model with environmental protection approach has been developed to optimize pattern of various land uses. To achieve an optimal plan, basis included an objective function and some basic social and economic constraints, has been used to minimize the erosion. Then the results of model have been compared with current land uses in the watershed. Comparisons show that the new developed LP model can be the proposed plan for natural resources management. Also, results indicated that use of this model will decrease to %9 in erosion amount
