Surface modification of OX50 nanosilica with 3-mercaptopropyl trimethoxysilane (MPTMS) was performed under sol-gel reaction. To characterizing amount of interaction between nanosilica and MPTMS, using TGA and FTIR analysis. To study the effect of surface treatment on the Pressure sensitive adhesives (PSAs) properties, using softening point, peel strength and lab shear analysis. Results revealed that mechanical and thermal properties of PSAs with silica treated increased.
