AUTOMATIC CONTINUITY OF SEPARATING MAPS

Let A be a normal Fr´echet function algebra which is the projective limit of a sequence of certain Banach function algebras. We show that each separating bijection from A onto a Fr´echet function algebra is continuous whenever A satisfies Ditkin’s condition.
