A typical problem in the context of competitive facility location problem, which is called Continuous Defensive Location Problem (CDLP), has been introduced in this paper. In this problem, different kind of defensive facilities (with different capacities) have been located by decision maker in the vertices of the network in order to prevent her/his aggressors from reaching the core which is an important vertex in the network. We provide a mathematical modeling for this problem and propose a hybrid method based on Directed Tabu Search method and local minimize algorithms
