The objective of this paper is to develop a MILP for maximizing the profit of a multiechelon
reverse logistic network (RLN). Since these networks are NP-hard problems, simulated
annealing algorithm with priority-based method applied to find the near optimal solution. Finally the
computational results obtained through SA are compared with the solutions obtained by LINGO
optimization software. The solution reveals that the proposed methodology performs very well in
terms of both quality of solutions obtained and computational time.
