This study attempts to investigate the impact of climate indices on precipitation in Tabriz in the period 1951-2013. The climatic parameters that are assumed to affect the climate element include: TNH, SCA, PT Pacific SST WP, EA, EAWR, SOI, AO, EP-NP, PNA, NAO, and POL, These are investigated in this study as independent variables and precipitation is considered as the dependent variable. Tabriz station that has the longest and most complete statistical period was selected for the purpose of this study. Relationship analysis through investigating correlation between dependent and independent variables in the form of time series was carried out. To this end, the impact of teleconnection indices on precipitation was analyzed by SPSS on a monthly basis, a month without delay, one-month lag, a month later, two-month lag, two months later, three-month lag, and three months later. The results are showed in tabular form in terms of a correlation of 99%, a correlation of95% and no correlation. The results showed that teleconnection indices of EP-NP, EAWR, and significant effect on precipitation. However, indices of POL, NINO3, NINO3+4, and PT had the highest impact on precipitation. SCA had the lowest effect on precipitation with a one-month lag.
