The application of the vibration condition monitoring for electromotor fault diagnostics has been developed in this years at a very rapid rate. Many vibration environments are not related to a specific frequency and may have input from multiple sources which may not be harmonically related. With these types of vibration, it may be more accurate, or of more interest to analyze and test using random vibrationUnlike sinusoidal vibration, acceleration, velocity and displacement are not directly related by any specific frequency. Of primary concern in random testing is the complete spectral content of the vibration being measured or generated. Most random vibration testing is conducted using Gausian random suppositions for both measurement and specification purposes. With Gaussian assumptions, there is no definable maximum amplitude and the amplitude levels are measured in RMS (root-mean-squared) values The purpose of this research was to present about the application of the power spectral density in electromotor faults diagnostics and the prospects of the power spectral density in detect electromotor problems were discussed In this research we were calculated Grms and PSD (Power Spectral Density) of an electromotor in different situation and different faults and then we were draw power spectral density carves for each faults. The results showed that different faults were showed different power spectral density carves vs. frequency. The results showed that with calculating power spectral density, we could diagnosis of electromotor fault. Results showed that this method was rapid to show faults of an electromotor.
