On Optimal Design for A Poisson regression Model with Random Slope

In spite of a wide application of mixed effects models, most of the current research on optimal experimental designs concentrates on fixed effects models. In this paper we discuss optimal designs for a Poisson regression model with random slope. The convex design theory is developed for this model to obtain locally D-optimal designs. It has been found that the Doptimal designs depends on the model parameters extensively.
