Experience has proved that maintenance cost of rotating equipments is a huge expense of different industriesThe need for reducing these kinds of expenditures reveals the importance of condition monitoring day by dayApplying different methods of condition monitoring allows maintenance departments to perform their activitiesbased on the current condition of machineries not on the basis of approximated machineries life length arisingfrom statistics. Due to the prognosis and diagnosis of failures as duty of condition monitoring units and withproper maintenance planning of the plants, maintenance activities could result in reduction of repair andmaintenance costs. In this research we studied about roller bearing and its fault diagnosis using vibrationcondition monitoring and power spectral density analyzing. In this research we were measured roller bearing acceleration (g, RMS) and were calculated PSD (Power Spectral Density) of that bearing in different situation We were calculated Grms and PSD for different faults. The results showed that different faults were showeddifferent PSD vs. frequency. The results showed that with calculating PSD we could distinguish different faultand diagnosis of roller bearing.
