Abstract :
This study was carried out to determine the performance on single hybrid corn genotypes developed under the “National Maize Integrated Crop Management Regional Yield and Adaptation Researches’’. In this experiment; (ADA 523, DKC 6589, P 31 G 98, SASA-1 SASA-10, SASA-14, SASA-18, SASA- 2, SASA-21, SASA-22, SASA-26, SASA-28, SASA-3, SASA-35, SASA-39, SASA-41, SASA-42, SASA-43, SASA-5, SASA-9) 20 cultivar and candidate cultivars were used as research material. The experiments were conducted at GAP International Agricultural Research and Educational Center in Diyarbakır with randomized complete block design with three replicate in 2011 year. According to the findings of experiment; plant height ranged (237-356 cm), first ear height (97-172 cm), the number of days blooming (63.6 -70.6 day), kernel/ear (%73.4-87.9), 1000 kernel weight (307 -385 g), moisture (%10.6-20.1), single plant yield 75-198 g respectively. The average yield of maize genotypes was found to be between 488 kg/da (SASA 9) and 1333 kg/da (SASA-18) and the average yield was determined as 1069 kg/da.
