Abstract :
Yaşar Kemal has benefited as much as from archetypal and mythic symbols in his novel named Ağrıdağı Efsanesi within the boundaries of the novel art. In this article we examined the novel named Ağrıdağı Efsanesi in the context of archetypal criticism looking at plots, story contacts, theses, ideological background, monomitos time plot and actions. Archetypal criticism treats the literary narratives as work as a myth. We will compare the actions of center contacts of novel with the mythic behavior molds of fire thief Prometheus and Oedipus complex.
