Abstract
This research conducted aims determining the point of view of the primary school teachers about KPSS. When researches about KPSS are analyzed, it was seen that there is not enough scientific research conducted on the issue, or very limited researches are conducted. Therefore, this research has utmost importance. The study sample of 310 primary school teachers are working in Kars province. According to the results; teachers think KPSS exam is incompetent to select thecandidates who must have basic qualities of a teacher, which Ministry of Education requires. According to the teachers; KPSS is not a qualified exam to select the teacher, and doesn’t provide objectivism, damages the mental health of teachers, doesn’t include topical information, shepherds the teachers toward memorization and figured high success from candidates. Furthermore, there exists different criteria should come up to select the teachers. In the teacher-proficiency side of the research, asking a branch based questions in KPSS is discountenanced by a teacher as well
