EATING HABITS OF EDUCATOR AND INSTRUCTOR TRAINEES WHO WILL BE ROLE MODELS IN THE CHILDREN TRAINING
Abstract :
Some factors to effect the eating habits of ınstructor and educator trainees, who will be role models in the children trainig, are examined in this research. The area of the research includes erciyes University, Dicle University, Kırıkkale University Child Development program, child development and training associate degree and undergraduate students from 2011-2012 academic year. In order to measure the eating habits of the young people a “questionnaire” and “personal information form”, developed by some researchers, are used. While being analyzed, the frequency is interpreted with percentage and chi square analysis method. As a result of the research, it is observed that more than the half of the trainers and master trainers do not smoke and the relationship between water, fruit juice and alcohol consumption of the youth according to their schools are meaningful. it has also been seen that there is a relationship between salami-sausage and hamburger meat consumption by the schools; and the young people try to consume meat and fish as much as possible.
