A STUD ON CEMAL SÜREYA’S POEM NAMED “YUNUS KI SÜTDIŞLERIYLE TÜRKÇENIN” IN THE LIGHT OF HIS ARTICLE “FOLKLOR ŞIIRE DÜŞMAN”
Abstract :
CemalSüreya has considered inadequate and even an obstacle the statements in the language of folk poetry and elements of folklore at his poetic article named “Folklor Şiire Düşman” penned in 1956 for the art of contemporary poetry. He has noted approximately after thirteen years at his poem “Yunus ki Sütdişleriyle Türkçenin” the contribution to language as powerful representative poet Yunus Emre and he has adhered to principles of İkinciYeni however he has demonstrated the importance of folk poetry for language. Süreya has utilized folk statements in his poetry too and sometimes by deforming those statements. He has imagined again some well-known imagines of the poets he discussed.
