Abstract :
In this article we aim to determine the place of Bashkir people and Bashkortostan as a country in the classic Russian literature. It is primary aim is to project the reflections of thoughts and ideas of such great minds of Russian literature as Leo Tolstoy and Dmitriy Mamin-Sibiryak. Besides allmentioned, our main consern is to transpose the consequences of annexation conditions of Bashkirlands to imperial Russia, the policies followed by Tsarandimplications of such policies on peoplelivingthere.
