Ottoman in 19th century is a period in which distributions, communions, innovations in literature occured as much as political area. Modern literature that is improved in the shadow of modern-classic, oldnew discussions and especially translation activities, marvelous varieties in theatre, newspapers and journals indicate the dimension of the reader s interest to the progress. Journals like Hazîne-i Fünûn, Servet-i Fünûn, Maârif and Malumât are just some of the journals left its mark on the period. One of the journals that has been published in the early part of the 20th century is Osmanlı Tarih ve Edebiyat Mecmȗası that is published by Alî Emîrî Efendi from Diyarbakır as 31 pieces. Alî Emîrî Efendi who published his personal writings mostly in this journal, published also a lot of poetic and prosaic kinds just like letters, vicdannames and Ottoman credentials. In this study, marks of two important poets called Said Paşa and Süleyman Nazif who are two mutual generation and countryman of Alî Emîrî Efendi are approached in Osmanlı Tarih ve Edebiyat Mecmȗası.
