Abstract
While transmitting the message of God to the community Prophets has provided some evidences to show that they were sent from God. This evidence that unable people to respond is called miracle. It is emphasized that the Qur’an is a book that is sent by God and that those who have doubts about this are challenged for bringing in a similar. The Arab Poets had not challenged against the Qur’an’s confrontation. The question that what is this miraculous aspect of the Qur an is discussed by scholars and they put forth different opinions. According to the majority of the scholars Qur an is a miracle as its rhetorical structure. But some scholars first Nazzâm and Mortaza, have argued that the miraculous aspect of the Qur an is Sarfe. This article examines Mortaza s Sarfe –if God had not blocked the Arabs, they could produce something similar to Qur an-.
