Title Of Article :
Use of Knowledge Map in Science Teaching: The Case of Ecosystem
Abstract :
The purpose of this study, primary 8 class science and technology course in Food Chain Organisms and Energy Relations unit of energy flow and ecosystem within the scope of Article cycles started teaching the subject of information mapping technique to investigate the effect of meaningful learning. For this purpose, pre-primary education as a regulatory 7 class science and technology education in the concepts of ecosystem units used in humans and the environment. In the study, pre-test and post-test control group experimental design was applied to the model. The data, primary 8 grade students were collected by applying the ecosystem Achievement Test. The data obtained in experimental and control groups, ecosystem of applications made after the information was a significant difference between the experimental group students. This finding is, ecosystem mapping technique and the teaching of subject knowledge, students have shown is effective in increasing the level of success. Interested parties should take place at the end of the study are presented.
