Abstract :
The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of web supported learning cycle approach on the 11th grade students’ self-efficacy beliefs toward physics. The research was conducted, in 2009-2010 academic year, in two Anatolian high schools of Diyarbakir provincial center on a total of 52 students. Pre-test-post test control group model was used in this study. Traditional teaching method was used for the control group and the Web Based Learning Cycle Approach teaching the experimental group. For collecting gathering data, Self-Efficacy Belief Scale intended for Physics lesson were used. Dependent and ındependent t-test techniques were used to analyze the obtained data. According to the findings of the study, while no change in self-efficacy beliefs of the experimental group towards Physics course was observed, a negative change was observed in control group. In the light of the findings some suggestions developed.
