Enrichment Project Based Learning in Primary Education: The Three Stage Purdue Model
Abstract :
In this study, the three- stage Purdue Model, an enrichment model used in education for gifted in accordance with primary science and technology courses, are planned in order to develop guidance material. The three-stage Purdue Model is a Project based approach appropriate with constructivism. Moreover, the three stage Purdue It is considered that this model can be used in normal education institutions with appropriate design. Thus, the constructivist learning will be provided as well as the inclusion of all students in Project process. In the first step, the fourth grade of primary school science and technology curriculum, which is one of the most difficult issues that apparently force and motion that has been selected. In the second stage in the curriculum of science and technology achievements and Purdue model was developed on the basis of the guidance material. Developed guidance materials 2 classroom teacher, educator, and 2 with 4 fields are examined by experts, and the material was given final shape.
