مرکز منطقه ای اطلاع رساني علوم و فناوري - Investigate of the Postgraduate Thesis on the Field of Pre-School Education in Turkey Between 2000-2014 Years

Abstract :

The aim of this study is to investigate the post-graduate thesis in the field of pre-school education in Turkey. In this context, in total 340 post-graduate thesis were tried to grouping in various perspectives, in last fourteen years. This research is a qualitative research and the data were collected by document analysis techniques. The research samples, were identified by criteria sampling which is the one of purposeful sampling strategies. Thesis Review Form that developed by researchers to examine reached thesis for purpose of the study was used, frequency (f) was utilized to resolve data and the data was indicated on chart. It was observed in terms of the collected data; the maximum number of thesis in pre-school field were reached in 2010 and in general of last fourteen years; the social sciences institutes were published the maximum amount of thesis. In addition, when analyzed in terms of children; the social development, in terms of school; program field, in terms of family; parent opinions, in terms of method; quantitative methods and in in terms of reference; the domestic resources were preferred much more. It is thought to submit the current data to researches in pre-school education such as rapidly growing and academically increasing field is important. In this study,when it is considered that the thesis located in National Thesis Center contains all studies in this period, it is thought; this study is quite important in terms of determination the current status.
