Abstract :
This research examines the articles published in Journal of Dicle University Ziya Gökalp Faculty of Education between 2005 and 2015. In this research index of articles, number of authors, methods used in the articles, media and qualities of data collection, title, number, and institution of authors have been searched based on the data found in article examination form prepared by the authors of 298 articles which appeared in 20 issues in aforementioned period. It is seen that research methods used in articles are mostly descriptive, students are taken as sample/study group, data is collected with ready scales and results are analyzed with frequency, arithmetic average or parametric tests. Besides, based on the subject distribution of articles, it is understood that subjects out of education field have been more common before 2009, and subjects related with education sciences and major education has increased, and accordingly, use of foreign sources has risen up after this year. The fact that there is an increase in bibliography by years is another indication of this research. On the other side, when we look into authors of the articles, we see that authors from Dicle University lost their numerical majority by 2008. Moreover it is also seen that authors that have published their articles in the journal mostly have Assistant Professor title.
